Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Core Functions, an Upstatement company (“Core Functions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit corefunctions.co (the “Site”) or contact us through it. We’ve tried to write it in plain language; if anything is unclear, email us at hello@corefunctions.co.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our inquiry form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, company, how you found us, and the message you send. Only your email address and message are required.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical and usage data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through analytics cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics).
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and understand how it’s used.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform those services:
- HubSpot — inquiry-form submissions are sent to and stored in HubSpot, our customer-relationship platform.
- Google Analytics — collects and processes Site usage data as described above.
- Google Fonts — serves the Site’s typefaces; your browser requests these files directly from Google.
- Cloudflare — provides hosting and content delivery for the Site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep inquiry-form information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.
Your privacy rights
EU/UK (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. We process your data on the basis of your consent (for analytics), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site, and to take steps at your request before entering into a relationship (responding to inquiries). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, the right to request deletion or correction of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@corefunctions.co. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be made prominent on this page.
